Switzerland is a multinational country thatborders on five European countries: in the north it borders with Germany, in the east - with Austria and Liechtenstein, with Italy in the south and France in the west. Due to historical development and relations with neighbors and other states in Switzerland at the moment there are, according to the Constitution, several official languages.

What is the language in Switzerland? - you ask. The main one is German (63%), but besides it there are also French (20%), Italian (6%) and Romansh (0.5%). They can be diluted in other languages, depending on the nationality of the emigrants.

If you want to visit Switzerland as a tourist, you will have enough English. But if you want to stay there for a long time, it is better to still know one of their official languages.
