Rostransmodernization is planning to terminate a large contract with Omsk NGO "Mostovik"November 17, 2017
The agency will require to terminate the contract with the contractor at 9.12 billion rubles through the court.
The case will be considered by the Moscow Arbitration Court, the first court session will be held on October 21.
It is known that Mostovik won the tender for the construction of a number of facilities as part of the development project of the Novorossiysk transport hub. Among them is the construction of a receiving-dispatch park, 55 km of railway tracks, over 140 switches and engineering communications. According to the project, the new receiving-departure park should significantly increase the capacity of the Novorossiysk station.
NPO Mostovik started construction in March last year. All these works should be completed in 2016, but the contractor, according to the press service of the Ministry of Transport, does not fulfill the conditions of this contract.
According to the Rostransmodernization reports, in 2012, the agency transferred to the contractor work 2.6 billion rubles and another 465 million - in 2013. However, during the first half of the year, NGO Mostovik did not use a penny from these funds, and at the beginning of this year, the readiness level of the facilities was only 3.6%.
The government agency notes that “Mostovik” is experiencing a shortage of funds and is on the verge of bankruptcy. The reason for this could be the accelerated construction of Olympic facilities in Sochi, where Mostovik was one of the main contractors.
The co-owner of Mostovik, Oleg Shishov, confirmed the fact that the company currently has financial difficulties. However, according to him, by implementing some of the next projects, the company will be able to cover its debts. Today, Oleg Shishov is negotiating with the customer so that Mostovik is given the opportunity to complete the construction of facilities in Novorossiysk.
